    Computer Resources for KapCC Faculty PDF Print E-mail

    KapCC faculty without access to a computer in their departments can use laptops set up in Naio 203.  The laptops are connected to a laserjet printer; printing is permitted for small single-copy work-related documents.  Computers may not be available when the room is in use for workshops and other pre-scheduled events. Check the CELTT Room Calendar for a schedule of events. Faculty may also use a document scanner that is in the room, under the direction of CELTT staff.

    Software available on the computers includes:

  • Microsoft Office 2003 Suite
  • Microsoft Office 2007 Suite
  • Impatica for PowerPoint
  • Firefox and Internet Explorer
  • HP Scanner *
  • Jing screen capture software

    Help Desk/Customer Care PDF Print E-mail

    Help Desk personnel handle trouble calls from faculty, staff and students. For Faculty and Staff, they handle calls related to the campus telephone system, computer software and hardware, technology procurement consultation and access to the campus wireless network. KCC Help Desk / Customer Care Center personnel assist students only with password resets and wireless set ups. For other technology support, students should contact the University of Hawaii Information Technology Services (ITS).
