Help Desk personnel handle trouble calls from faculty, staff and students. For Faculty and Staff, they handle calls related to the campus telephone system, computer software and hardware, technology procurement consultation and access to the campus wireless network. KCC Help Desk / Customer Care Center personnel assist students only with password resets and wireless set ups. For other technology support, students should contact the University of Hawaii Information Technology Services (ITS).

New Online Service Request Form

In an effort to better serve you, CELTT has replaced its paper/pdf CustomerCare Center/Help Desk Service Request form with an online request form. The form is much easier for you to complete and submit and will improve our intake, handling, tracking, and reporting of service requests.

The new system will also provide you with:
(1) an email message verifying our receipt of your request
(2) an email notice of completion of the request, and
(3) a link to a customer satisfaction survey that allows you to give us feedback which will inform future service provision.

Given the ease of use, increased availability of the form, and technical constraints, faculty and staff must submit their own requests; we can no longer accept requests from students.

Wireless Set Up

Help Desk / Customer Care Center personnel can assist students with access to the campus wireless network. Go in-person to the Customer Care Center with your lap top and Kapiolani Community College (KCC) student ID for wireless set up. This service is also provided at Cybernesia and the Lama Library.

Password Reset

First try to reset your password online. See "Managing Your UH Username" under the Related Links section. If you are not able to reset your password online, you may go in-person to the Customer Care Center. For information security purposes, you MUST show a photo ID with your social security number or KCC student ID in order for the password reset request to be accepted. No password resets will be completed without a valid photo ID.

Password reset requests will take one working day to complete. In order to pick up your new password and user name, you MUST show your photo ID. Passwords will not be released to anyone but the account holder.

If your password is not picked up within three working days, it will be deleted. You will have to make another request for a new password.
